THESE GO TO ELEVEN
These Go To Eleven is er dit voorjaar met maar liefst vijf edities vol gitaargeweld. In januari, februari, maart, april en mei staan telkens drie opvallende gitaarbands op het podium, met een sound die varieert van rauwe post-punk tot vurige garage en meeslepende alternatieve rock. Iedere avond draait om ontdekking, energie en liefde voor het genre, waarbij zowel opkomend talent als gevestigde namen de kans krijgen om te schitteren. Naast de reguliere edities is er jaarlijks ook het These Go To Eleven Festival, waarbij Hedon volledig in het teken staat van de gitaar. These Go To Eleven is uitgegroeid tot een vaste ontmoetingsplek voor liefhebbers van pure livemuziek, waar nieuwe favorieten worden ontdekt en oude liefdes opnieuw oplaaien.

Experimental super-punk. Supermarkt is a five-piece Noise {Dance} rock band :3 based in Amsterdam. The sound is raw, real, relentless. Inspired by noise rock, Anatolian rock, no wave and tinnitus. Lyrics tell stories of the absurd, the obscene and the senseless. They enjoy improvisation and are currently working on their first EP, which is taking a bit because they are improvising it too. In their free time, they enjoy the serene moments in life.

Medieval science and medical journals implied that earwurms can burrow into the brain or at least into the ears and cause serious harm. This fear caused the cryptic insect to gain a dangerous reputation. Many fear that they bite people and think they should be kept far away but they actually don’t do any harm…
The Earwurms are a “conceptual” punk band, created by three accidental women. Their songs mention themes like the joy and understanding of the banal. They explore how being a woman affects their lives and how to deal with the confusion that comes along with it. With savoury words and a shebang of sound they wiggle their way into your ears.
